Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. She has won numerous awards for her roles in the films Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard and Claudia Shepard as Claudia Shepard and Layla Grant in Nashville (2012). She also was in her role as Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy and Ashley raised her within Lake Mary Florida. There is also an older sister, Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. Aubrey is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was chosen as valedictory of the class of 2012 after she graduated. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. The second time was due to her desire to perform in Nashville. Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally 2011 Grey's Anatomy (2005), and was a regular character in Necessary roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the made-for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series in which she played Layla Grant. In 2019 Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire placed Peeples as the highest on their list of the top actors who are younger than September 2014.
